| Fortron adds new machine range to their portfolio Feb 09, 2007 | Fortron UK, a wholly owned subsidiary of MTT Group, has been appointed the sole authorised agent in the UK and Ireland for HG Ridder Water Jet Cutting machines.
This partnership with H.G Ridder Automatisierungs-GmbH will enable UK customer’s access to the most sophisticated water jet cutting machines available. As HG Ridders sole authorised supplier Fortron aims to provide the highest levels of supply, support and service to this new range of machines.
The company, H.G. Ridder Automatisierungs-GmbH, was founded in 1980 in Hamm/Westphalia by Mr Heinrich Georg Ridder. They have now been serving national and international customers with more than 50 employees for 25 years.
The range of machines they offer today has developed from mechanical manufacturing and electric controller technology.
This ranges from high pressure water jet technology to machine overhaul and special machine construction. As a customer, you receive everything from one source, from the design to commissioning and service, due to very deep manufacturing techniques. This concept has proven itself well over all the years.
Water jet cutting machines are at the forefront of profiling technology. Utilising water and abrasive at pressures of up to 4000bar, these machines are incredibly versatile, being able to cut almost any material from sponge through to Kevlar, stainless steel, tungsten carbide, glass, aluminium, ceramics and food. They are extremely versatile machines with numerous advantages over laser or milling machines. These include:

Fortron UK has now been set-up specifically to service and supply H.G Ridder WARICUT machine tools. As Ridder’s only authorised supplier in the UK and Ireland, and, in-line with Ridder’s continuously advancing technology, Fortron aims to provide the highest levels of supply and service in all aspects of its operation.

The service department has dedicated factory trained mechanical, electrical and electronic engineers to meet all customer requirements, and the team is strategically located throughout the UK and Eire to provide a swift response at all times.
The Fortron range of services available for Ridder machines includes: installation and relocation; service maintenance contractsa; breakdown response, laser and bulbar calibration, and, rebuild and retrofit.
